Our 101 Cocktails Range

Ingredients:

Cointreau  /  Lime Juice  /  Tequila

Margarita in Spanish means daisy. The daisy is an old prohibition drink that has a base spirit, sugar, and a sour. The cocktail later inspired the sidecar, which is basically a margarita with cognac and lemon. Some believe that the margarita is just a spin on a tequila daisy. A classic margarita consists of tequila, Cointreau and lime or lemon juice, often served in a glass rimmed with salt or sugar. The margarita is one of the most ordered drinks in the world, and for good reason.

BarCrafts Margaritas are created using either El Jimmador or Don Julio tequila, freshly squeezed lemon, and citrus infused ‘house-made sugar syrup’. Both the sugar and acidity in our margaritas have been expertly tested to ensure the perfect margarita ratio, allowing us to claim one of the best margaritas served in Cape Town. Our margaritas are served short in a margarita glass or tumbler, with a half salt rim and a lime wedge. These are the perfect addition to a party radiating both sophistication and fun.

As with our Daiquiris, our kegs do not serve frozen margaritas but we have some other very tasty variations such as our Mango-Margarita, Pineapple Margarita and Smoky Watermelon-Jalapeño Margarita if you are looking for something a little different.
